Doggie Yoga (Doga) – Come learn to relax with your dog at the doggie yoga (Doga) class. It will enhance wellness and deepen your relationship with your canine. JUNE 8: Wayside Waifs second annual Hot Cars for Cool Cats. This car show will raise money for the thousands of homeless animals that pass through our doors. Don't have a car but want to get in on the action? Come by to take a peek at the cars and cats (we have lots of dogs too). We will also have food and t-shirts available for purchase. JUNE 8: The Humane Society of Greater Kansas City’s annual Dog-n-Jog on the Country Club Plaza from 7 – 10:30 am. Get in on Kansas City’s largest dog run/walk and one of the region’s largest as well. The event includes a two and one-mile run and a two and one-mile walk. Dogs of all breeds and sizes will have a great time enjoying a leisurely stroll or fierce competition. JUNE 21: First Annual Tire Marks & Dog Barks Poker Run to benefit Animal Haven of Merriam, KS. The ride will begin and end at I-35 and 67th Street.
