FELINE FATHERHOOD

How much does feline fatherhood factor into kitty's character?
As most of us already know, the domesticated felines are close relatives of the big cats; lions, tigers, leopards, etc. But fatherhood in the wild is quite different from fatherhood in our own kitty's life. Lions, for example, form a family unit, known as a pride. It consists of anywhere from a total of four or five members all the way up to 15 or 20 females along with their cubs plus two to seven males. Usually, all of the females in a pride are related to one another, and the cubs are usually fathered by one (or more) of the males in the pride.

Most cat-owners are used to it. We simply resign ourselves to the fact that cats almost always get their way & as long as our in-laws aren’t over for dinner, we manage to put up with the fact that anything the cat drags in on their paws & rear end will end up on our countertops. That’s what disinfectant cleanser was really invented for, right? If the constant kitty expedition on your counter is a problem you’d rather not have to live with, however, there are some things you can try (“try” being the operative word).

Well, not really, but according to some, this breed you’ve probably never heard of is as close as any mortal being (human or animal) can get. It can do what no other domesticated dog is capable of.
